Reading Borough Council have today launched a consultation on the revised Eldon Square Conservation Area Appraisal. The consultation will close at 5 pm on Tuesday 20 January 2026.
The launch follows the Strategic Environment, Planning and Transport Committee on Wednesday 19 November where councillors approved the consultation.

There is a long list of people who helped us with this appraisal. We are very grateful for the generous assistance and input from residents of the area who walked the CA with us on many occasions and attended community meetings held at The Retreat.
